The Membership fee is $15 and is payable once only for the financial year. Members are entitled to attend General Meetings, be considered for casting, receive concession tickets to QSE performances, receive quarterly newsletters with articles about actor training and Shakespeare and other member-only benefits. Membership expires automatically each year on the 1^st of March.

The Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble is a community-based, non-profit organization run by two distinct bodies. The Core Ensemble is the artistic engine of the the company, and Core members contribute their skills to the day-to-day running of company. The Management Committee ensures that QSE activities are in line with the company's mission and vision, and adhere to the requirements of the Associations Incorporation Act of 1981. Copies of the Rules of the association are available on request.

Membership of QSE's non-profit association is required for all course participants for insurance reasons. The fee is $15 and is payable once only for the financial year (January-December) no matter how many courses are taken. QSE members:

• receive one free ticket to a QSE performance (a value of $15-$30);

• receive concession prices to additional performances;

• are entitled to attend General Meetings; and

• may be considered for casting.
