2017 Prison Project Performance: The Merchant of Venice

'But love is blind, and lovers cannot see
The pretty follies that themselves commit'

The Shakespeare Prison Project is presenting The Merchant of Venice for two very limited public performances on Saturday 18th November. A tale of friendship and love, this lighthearted comedy also poses big questions about justice, discrimination, and revenge.

The performances take place at the Southern Queensland Correctional Centre and will run for an hour and a half, including a Q&A session with cast and facilitators.

Please note:

Please provide details on all attendees while making your ticket purchase in order to provide a list of venue visitors to the Department of Corrective Services.

Online bookings for these performances closes on Wednesday the 1st of November 2017.

You must bring current photo ID and a completed Security Form 27a in order to gain entry to the venue.

Arrival time is minimum one hour prior to performance to allow for security processing.
